Distinguished Past, Innovative Future.

Binghamton University’s 2010 strategic plan is guided by strategies to leverage our current strengths, enhance educational opportunities, extend the boundaries of knowledge and understanding, engage the world more broadly and develop new, diversified sources of revenue as we seek the best and strongest future possible for our University.

Developed with broad campus input, our plan is leading us in new directions, empowering us to evolve, grow and enrich our students, faculty, staff and communities over the next decade — building on the momentum the University has created since 2005 Excellence in a Climate of Change plan was implemented.

To advance the State University of New York in its mission and vision, Chancellor Zimpher is leading the implementation of a SUNY-wide strategic plan that will guide SUNY for the next five years and advise SUNY in its development for the next 10 years.
