Administrative Services
The Office of the Associate Vice President for Administrative Services is responsible for the leadership and management oversight of the following units: Auxiliary Services, Risk Management & Administrative Compliance, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, and the University Center for Training and Development. The office also facilitates the Building Administrator and Essential Employees programs for the campus.
Auxiliary Services
Provides auxiliary programs and services that are responsive, timely, effective, and designed to meet the evolving needs of our customers and the University Community. Also provides the coordination and support of campus event planning and facilities scheduling for local, regional, and non-credit bearing event management. It is both the business and pleasure of Auxiliary Services to put the needs of student and staff customers first.
Risk Managment & Administrative Compliance
Responsible for the development of risk management policies and practices leading toward the protection of University assets, the limitation of liability, and the continuity of all University functions, all in response to a wide range of loss exposures that are associated with a University.
Environmental Health and Safety
Promotes and supports a safe and environmentally conscious campus community through the delivery of professional consultation, education, and training of its comprehensive program offerings to the university community.
Human Resources
Provides outstanding service and expertise for our customers including faculty, staff, graduate and teaching assistants, student assistants and federal college work study students and prospective employees.
University Center for Training and Development
Activity facilitates, coordinates, advertises, and provides professional development and technical workshops to support and facilitate learning, growth, and development for the faculty and staff of Binghamton University.
