2010-11 Success & Thank Yous
The Binghamton University freshman and transfer classes for Fall 2011 are in. We are excited by the high quality of the students who have chosen to attend. Your initiatives significantly impacted this success. A record number of students applied -- nearly 30,000.
- College Fairs - More than 130 college fairs were staffed by more than 100 alumni. If you attended college fairs make sure you have mailed the college fair evaluation form back along with any of the postcards that students filled out. If you have left over recruiting materials please drop them off at public libraries, a neighborhood high school, or a youth or community center.
- Emailing admitted students - 127 alumni called and/or emailed almost 2,400 admitted students encouraging enrollment and offered personal insights of their Binghamton experience
We could never have achieved the successes this year without your dedication, time, effort and assistance; however, a few of our alumni deserve some extra recognition for their committment to the program.
