About 5 days after we receive your application, you will receive from Binghamton University a B-Number and User ID via email. Once you receive your B-Number and User ID, activate your password. You must do this before you can successfully complete the rest of your application.

If you have fewer than 24 earned college credits after high school graduation, you must submit:.

• Official, final high school transcript
• SAT or ACT test scores sent electronically from the testing service
• Request that an official transcript from every college or educational institution you've attended since high school be mailed to the Admissions office

If you have earned more than 25 earned college credits after high school graduation, you must:

• Request that an official transcript from every college or educational institution you've attended since high school be mailed to the Admissions office.

Some students may asked to submit additional materials. Note: Please do not complete unless specifically contacted by Binghamton University.

Once enrolled, all students must submit a final high school transcript or GED certificate. This is required to complete your file and to be permitted to register for future semester courses.

• Assess what coursework credit may transfer.

Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) students are required to have their current school complete our EOP Transfer Verification Form. Be sure to include your B-Number. 

THE BAT PROGRAM IS NOW CLOSED FOR FALL 2013.

BAT students who hold a bachelor's or graduate degree in a field other than nursing may apply to the Decker School of Nursing's Baccalaureate Accelerated Track (BAT) Program. Information on eligibility, admissions requirements and application deadlines can be found on the program's website.

Be sure to complete the 2013-14 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you would like to be considered for federal and/or New York State financial aid. You can apply online starting January 1, 2013, and Binghamton's recommended filing date is February 1, 2013. You can still apply for financial aid after this date, but be aware that funding for institutional need-based financial aid is limited, and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

All admitted students who have a FAFSA on file (and sent to Binghamton University) will receive a financial aid award notification via email from Financial Aid Services in November 2012 (for spring 2013 admission) and March 2013 (for fall 2013 admission).
