When I was in high school in New York City, I remember the admissions process as both exhilarating and a little bit scary for me as it is for many of you now. Even after I was accepted to Binghamton University, I was unsure of how to make the most of my college years.
However, I soon found myself a part of a community full of enthusiastic learners, broad opportunities and support from faculty, staff and my fellow classmates. I took courses from many different areas and decided to pursue a BA in sociology. As an undergraduate here, I developed lifelong friends, fostered amazing relationships with professors, and benefited from lots of hands-on research opportunities and small class sizes! Binghamton became a home and a break from the chaotic Manhattan hustle and bustle I was used to.
Now as an Admissions Counselor for Binghamton University, I am excited to help you find out what works best for you! From Sociology to Chemistry to Medieval Studies, Binghamton has lots to offer. So make sure you ask tons of questions, stay in contact definitely come visit us and see what happens here in the wonderful world of Bing!
