Consider Binghamton your last college stop! It’s my job to make sure transfer students get the personal attention they need in order to be prepared for the transition to life at Binghamton University. I understand the unique issues and challenges transfers face; my own two children were transfer students.
Don’t worry – you’re not alone. One in three students at Binghamton is in the same situation you are and just as excited to explore new academic and social opportunities.
We have many services designed for transfers. Our 1,000 new transfer students each year attend a special orientation session tailored just for them. We also have a brand new commuter student lounge, transfer mentors in each residential community, and a transfer student honor society, Tau Sigma.
