Binghamton University has an ever-expanding wireless network that is easy to connect to. Registration of your computer is required each semester for wireless access across campus. When you arrive on campus, you can register your computer, iPhones or gaming consoles at https://cm1.verify.binghamton.edu/registration/user/
Binghamton's campus is wireless, however, should you want an even faster connection, each dorm is equipped for you to connect with your ethernet cable.

BU BRAIN
Start familiarizing yourself with this online tool and resource. Log in with your PODS username and password, and use BU Brain to:
- Pay your bill
- Register for classes
- View and accept/decline financial aid awards
- View grades
- View unofficial academic transcripts
- Print class schedules... and more
Blackboard
Blackboard allows you to communicate with fellow students and professors in a virtual classroom. Among other features, you can use Blackboard to:
- View the courses you've registered for each semester.
- View class grades (only some professors post them).
- Read announcements posted by your professors.

School of Management laptop computer requirement
- All freshmen must have a laptop computer with Microsoft Office. We also recommend that the laptop include Intel core two duo chip (or the equivalent) with a minimum of 2GB memory.
- We recommend transfers purchase laptops with the same capabilities, but it is not required.
- If you choose to use an Apple PC, there may be additional software expenses for the installation of Microsoft Office.
