All 2+2 transfer students earn a bachelor of science degree from the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science. Please note: If you have not completed the appropriate courses at your university, it may take more than two years to complete your bachelor of science degree at Binghamton.
Binghamton offers curriculum guides detailing courses needed for junior-level transfer admission for the 2+2 program: Bioengineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Ready to Apply?
Step 1: Meet with the coordinator of the 2+2 program at your university to make sure you are on track and have successfully completed the appropriate courses to transfer to Binghamton University.
Step 2: Complete Binghamton University’s Watson 2+2 International Transfer Application.
Step 3: Request the following official documentation be forwarded to Binghamton University:
• Official University Transcripts from all universities attended
• Official Secondary School Transcript
• Official TOEFL Scores (TOEFL Code: 2535)
Step 4: Complete Binghamton University’s International Student Financial Statement. Be sure an official Bank Statement is attached (copies will not be accepted).
Step 5: Complete successfully the online foreign academic credit evaluation via World Education Services (WES). You must have your credentials evaluated in order to have them understood and recognized by Binghamton University. The WES evaluation will provide you with the USA academic equivalents for your credentials.
Step 6: Be sure all materials submitted contain your complete contact information, including full name, date of birth, address, etc.
