Simple, solid advice from 78-year-old: keep learning

"Become addicted to learning," 78-year-old Vestal resident, Kishen Kapur, said. "Learning is what makes the difference in life." Kapur is following his own advice. On May 16, 2009, more than a half-century after earning his master's degrees, he received his doctorate in electrical engineering from Binghamton University.

Alumni events and regional networks allow graduates to experience Binghamton University both on campus and wherever they call home.

The signature on-campus event is Homecoming/Alumni Reunion Weekend. And, each year, we also host about 40 events at a variety of venues across the country. We are continually looking to expand our event offerings and build our alumni networks. If you’re interested in helping that effort, contact Dan Polhamus or call 607-777-2431.
