SPECIAL REUNION TAILGATES
We encourage all alumni and their families to attend Tailgate '10, which will happen on Sat. Oct. 9, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Events Center parking lot. This outdoor barbecue is a great opportunity to catch up with everyone who has returned to campus for the weekend. It's also a great time to celebrate with members of your graduating class.
The following milestone reunion groups are having special gathering areas at Tailgate '10. If you'd like to set up a reunion area for your class year, contact Rose Frierman, MA '90, senior director of alumni relations.
Class of 1980 Tailgate
Eric Rubin '80 invites his classmates to take a run at topping last year's attendance and having the largest tailgate event yet. He has volunteered to coordinate the Class of 1980 Tailgate and would appreciate it very much if a couple of people would like to volunteer to assist him. Class of 1985 Tailgate
Joe Fontak '85 has volunteered to coordinate the Class of 1985 tailgate and would appreciate assistance from a few volunteers. If you'd like to help, contact him by e-mail. Joe is asking classmates to help spread the word about the Class of 1985 reunion; e-mail your old suite mates, post a message on your Facebook page, and e-mail everyone you know.
Class of 2000 Tailgate Party Station
Meet up with your classmates for food, fun and more! Food and drinks will be available; you are also welcome to bring your own. Do you have a favorite party food - a secret tailgate recipe? Bring it on! Contact Dan Polhamus '00, associate director of alumni relations, for more information.
Residential Life
We invite former RAs and RDs to come back for a reunion. We'll have a special ResLife area at Tailgate ’10 with food, giveaways and more. Come back and see classmates, former and current Faculty Masters, and meet with current RAs and RDs.
Engineers Without Borders
Last year's gathering at tailgate was so much fun that we're doing a more official reunion this year. Make plans to come back to campus for our reunion, and encourage former members of the group to do the same. We want this year's gathering to be even bigger and better.
Pipe Dream
Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the changeover from Colonial News to Pipe Dream by getting together with former newspaper staffers at Tailgate '10. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and relive the good times spent putting the newspaper together.
