Molly Peacock '69 wrote The Paper Garden: An Artist Begins Her Life’s Work at 72 (Bloomsbury USA, 2011). She recently conducted reading and signing sessions in New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington.
Richard Winsten '73, a member of the law firm Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C., was named Advocate of the Decade by Domestic Workers United, in recognition of his pro bono work for the group. He also received the Practical Revolutionary Award from the Freelancers Union for his outstanding contributions and service in building protections for the growing independent workforce.
Russell Frank '76 published his first book, Newslore: Contemporary Folklore on the Internet (University Press of Mississippi, 2011). He teaches journalism at Pennsylvania State University.
Theodore Flaum '84 and Sheldon Yao '97 appeared on the cover of the March issue of Journal of the American Osteopathic Association, for participating in the medical study, “Establishing a link between OMT and secretory immunoglobulin A levels”. Three other Binghamton alumni work with Yao and Flaum in the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine: Hugh Ettlinger '81, Melissa Ventimiglia '95 and William Blazey '01.

Threats, Lies, and Intimidation (FT Press, 2010). Library Journal
included the book as one of the best business titles in 2010, and FOX
News interviewed Williams late last month.
Robert P. Mulligan '87 is president and chief executive officer of Renaissance Life and Health Insurance Company of America and Renaissance Health Insurance Company of New York. Mulligan was previously regional vice president of dental market solutions for United Healthcare Specialty Benefits, where he held several senior-level positions.
Gamalel Sherif '88 is a teacher at the Science Leadership Academy in Philadelphia, and received the 2011 Delta Education/Frey-Neo/CPO Science Education Award for excellence in inquiry-based science teaching from the National Science Teachers Association.
Craig Edmund Klepin '93 wrote A1 Sales Pro (Lulu, 2010), designed for business executives and sales professionals looking to unlock more sales opportunities.
John P. Sullins III, PhD '02, associate professor of philosophy at Sonoma State University in California, won the 2011 Herbert A. Simon Award for Outstanding Research in Computing and Philosophy from the International Association for Computing and Philosophy (IACAP). He will recieve the award and present a plenary talk at the 2011 IACAP Conference, taking place in July at Aarhus University in Denmark.
