Alumni Golf Classic planned for July

You might be looking ahead to summer and starting to make vacation plans.  Take a long weekend in Binghamton and join us for the annual Alumni Golf Classic, planned for Friday, July 31.  All alumni and friends are welcome.

Once again, we'll have the tournament at Traditions at the Glen, a resort near Johnson City, N.Y., that boasts one of Greater Binghamton's best golf courses.  We are currently seeking foursomes and sponsors for this event.  Proceeds will benefit the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.

The golf tournament will be Captain and Crew style.  We'll have special prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin, and hole-in-one.  Before and after your round of golf, enjoy food, beverages and entertainment.

Last year's event attracted more than 140 golfers, and we want the 2009 tournament to be even bigger.  So, contact your classmates, friends and family members and encourage them to join your foursome.  Use B-connected, our online alumni community, to search for your college buddies.
