Meet our new Alumni Association board members

Five accomplished alumni who are dedicated volunteers for the University will join the Alumni Association board of directors on July 1. Alumni board members play important roles in planning and implementing Alumni Association programs and services. In addition, our board members are active in their geographic regions, engaging alumni to serve as volunteers. You may see one or more of the following faces at an upcoming alumni event.
Lisa Abbott, MBA '93 is chief human resource officer for Cornell University Medical College. As a student, she was involved with her residential community. Since graduating from Binghamton, she has attended several alumni events in the New York City area. Abbott is a member of CUPA, a human resources organization for higher education. Her professional affiliations also include memberships in the American Association of Medical Colleges, the General Business Affairs Steering Committee and University Pathfinders. Outside of work, she is a member of the New York Road Runners and American Alpine clubs.
Hans Dalmolen '98 (Harpur - philosophy, politics and law) is managing partner of Valletta Ritson, a Binghamton-based executive search firm. He is a long-time supporter of Binghamton University Athletics, participating in the department's mentoring program, volunteering as a guest speaker and serving on the BUAC board. In addition, he has been engaged with the University as a member of the Binghamton University Forum, Alumni Career Network and Think Tank advocacy group.
Jared Kirschenbaum '11 (Harpur - political science) is a strategic consultant for Salzinger, LLC. A leader in the student community, he was a finalist in the 2010 Alumni Association Exemplary Student Award competition. He was president of the Student Association, CEO of Off Campus College Transport and the recipient of the Paul J. Battaglia '00 Outstanding Student Leader of the Year Memorial Award.
Edgar Levy '85 (Harpur - mathematical sciences and studio art) is a licensed engineer and facilities project manager for North Carolina State University, where he earned a degree in civil engineering in 1996. During his time as a student at Binghamton, Levy was involved with the Newing College residential community and, as a graduate, was a driving force behind his graduating class year's 25-year reunion. As a member of the North Carolina Association of Physical Plant Administrators, he presents papers on facility repair and renovation at a yearly statewide conference. He also mentors a future engineers' competition at a Raleigh-area middle school and is a volunteer instructor during National Engineers Week. His sister is Helene Levy Schultz '81, MA '83.
Gregory Ronneburger '97, MBA '99 (Harpur - economics; SOM) is divisional vice president for AXA Advisors. As a student, he was involved with the Asian Student Union and Philippine American League, serving on the board of directors for both organizations. As a graduate, he is actively involved with the School of Management's mentoring program and has planned several alumni events in the Syracuse area. Ronneburger is a member of the Syracuse Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. In addition, he is chair of the Syracuse City School District Educational Foundation, a non-profit that provides grants to teachers for civic engagement projects.
