Explore scenic Ireland in Spring 2012
By Beth Osborne '10 and Steve Seepersaud
If you have ever longed to experience the wonders of the Emerald Isle, you'll want to take advantage of our unique travel opportunity. The Alumni Association and Department of Theatre are sponsoring a tour of Ireland, March 30-April 8, 2012. This trip is open to the public.
Faculty hosts Tom Kremer and Carol Hanscom - experienced world travelers - will take you to sites that will bring the legacy of Ireland to life. Among other attractions, you'll see the Cliffs of Moher, ancient religious sites and Blarney Castle (pictured, image courtesy of Creative Commons). While in Ireland, you'll have the chance to learn about the country's rich history and partake of traditional cuisine and craftsmanship.
The trip costs $3,199 per person (based on double occupancy), which includes airfare, lodging, some meals, admission fees at various venues and all travel within the country. A $500 deposit should be made as soon as possible.
To register or get more information, contact Tom Kremer at 607-777-2456 or our partner agency Travel with the Experts at 732-292-0034. View a detailed itinerary at the Alumni Travel Program website.
