Reiser working on music project, comedy series
As Paul Reiser '77 waits for his new comedy show to hit the airwaves on NBC, he's working on a project in a different medium. He teamed with pop singer Julia Fordham to make the album UnSung Heroes, which is dedicated to American soldiers in Afghanistan.
Reiser told Showbiz411.com that he heard Fordham's voice when driving in his car and was so taken in that he pulled the car over. They met a few years back and started writing songs together. Reiser wrote the theme song to his hit comedy show Mad About You.
Speaking of comedy, we look forward to seeing The Paul Reiser Show on the small screen. At press time, the Los Angeles Times reports that NBC had yet to place the sitcom on its midseason schedule. We'll provide an update on the Alumni Association's Facebook page as soon as possible.
