Roger Lee Hall, MA '72 produced a DVD Preserving Our Musical Past, which contains eight different books and music collections, plus more than 200 music tracks dealing with classical and popular music from the past.
Vicky (Ceccherelli) Kaseorg '78 wrote I'm Listening With a Broken Ear (CreateSpace, 2011), a true story about a dying dog, Honeybun, the author found on a roadside and grudgingly rescued.
Susan Deer Cloud '80, MA '82 was awarded a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship for 2011. Deer Cloud, a poet, was one of 105 people to win the award out of 3,692 applicants in five categories. The foundation is the nation’s largest provider of funding, information and services to individual artists. Deer Cloud, a former lecturer at Binghamton University, has two books forthcoming.
Richard Solomon '82 narrated and produced The Greek Jewish Synagogue and Museum of New York, a one-hour audio documentary released on CD and on various digital platforms including Amazon, iTunes and CDBaby.

Alexander Barnes, MA '83 wrote In a Strange Land: the American Occupation of Germany 1918-1923 (Schiffer Publishing, 2011), which covers the in-depth history of the U.S. Army's occupation of the German Rhineland after World War I.
Rob Wassmer, MA '85 (left) received The Outstanding Scholar Award from California State University in Sacramento, where he is chair and professor in the Department of Public Policy and Administration.
Jon Hyman '94 (right) is author and editor of Think Before You Click: Strategies for Managing Social Media in the Workplace (Thompson Publishing, 2011), which discusses the emerging intersection of social media, human resources, and labor and employment law. Hyman is a partner in the Labor & Employment and Litigation groups at Kohrman Jackson & Krantz in Cleveland.
Michael L. Nisengard '94 is secretary of the board of directors for the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation, an organization dedicated to overseeing the stabilization, preservation and restoration of the Buffalo Central Terminal. He is an associate and member of the Real Estate, Affordable Housing and Economic and Land Development practice groups at the law firm Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP, in Amherst, N.Y.
