Opportunities and resources available through the CCE are developed and evaluated with the goal of strengthening democratic citizenship while providing mutual benefits to the campus and community.

The CCE works with faculty to develop community components for their classes, community-based research opportunities, and service projects.

Students are provided assistance and information about volunteering/community service opportunities, community-based project development, alternative break service trips, fundraising and other forms of engagement. Through our weekly e-newsletter and interactive website, students, student groups, faculty, service organizations, and community agencies are able to share specific information to recruit potential supporters and partners.
