Community Archeology Program

Description:
The Community Archaeology Program (CAP) provides a professionally supervised opportunity for non-archaeologists to participate in excavations at nationally important sites.

Programs Offered:
CAP offers three programs each summer - for Adults, Teens (13-17) and Kids (10-12). Summer sessions include:
  • Classroom activities and lectures
  • Tours of the PAF's archaeology laboratories and research facilities
  • Hands-on lab work opportunities
  • Fieldwork opportunities at a local archaeological site to help researchers discover the past.
