Visual Resource Collections (VRC)
The Visual Resources Collection (VRC) is a University-wide facility containing images of Visual Culture, Architecture, Photography, Design, Sculpture, and Material Arts from a broad range of time periods and cultures. The Collection content supports teaching and research in a variety of disciplines and subjects and reflects the interdisciplinary and cross-cultural aspects of Binghamton's programs at both the undergraduate and the graduate level.
The Visual Resources Collection (VRC) contains approximately 216,000 slides, 55,000 photographs and a growing number of digital images (currently 30,000). Digital images for the collection are made upon request. In addition, the facility includes a mini-pod with 2 terminals and two scanners. These are available for student use during our hours of operation.
