Elder Services Center

Description:
The Decker School of Nursing maintains the Elder Services Center which offers clinical and educational services associated with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias.

Programs Offered:
The clinical services offer a full evaluation including:
  • Consolidating past history
  • Testing mental status
  • Assessing mental, functional, environmental status and caregiver stress/coping
  • Case management

    • The center also offers educational services including:

  • Community Education Services, including the development of training programs, development and distribution of Alzheimer's Disease and related educational materials
  • Individually tailored educational materials for families
  • Training for long-term care staff and special care providers
  • Workshops and conferences for individuals caring for Alzheimer's patients
