Swimming
On a weekly basis, there are both lap swim and recreational swim times offered at the Rec Center.
Lap swim provides six lanes (slow, medium, fast) of swimming. Patrons must place themselves in a lane based on their swimming ability. All swimmers must swim in a circular pattern within the lane.
Recreational Swim allows patrons to swim at their leisure. Two lanes are available for those wishing to do laps during Recreational Swim hours. The pool has noodles, kickboards, buoys, and life jackets available for use during pool hours. There are no additional fees for students, faculty and staff to participate in these swim times. Access is limited to current students, faculty and staff.
Aquatic Classes & Lessons
Recreation will be offering instructional aquatic classes (i.e. Aqua Aerobics, children's swim or adult learn to swim) during the Spring Semester 2012.
