Classes & Member Services

Memberships

Memberships can be purchased for access to the pool, courts, locker rooms, FitSpace and group exercise classes. There are different membership options depending on what you are look for. | More

Wellness & Aquatic Classes, Certifications and Swim lessons

Registration at the Membership Services Office is required in advance for each class, lesson or activity in order to participate. No registrations will be taken at the time of the program, or at the program location. These classes and activities are NOT included in Recreation, FitSpace, or Group Exercise membership fees. Participants with no affiliation to the University will be issued a BU ID card for entrance purposes.

To save yourself time, you can print the forms and complete them ahead of time:

 

Guest Passes

Day and week passes are also available for access to open recreation, FitSpace and Group Exercise classes. All passes must be purchased at the Membership Services Office during business hours. Students, faculty and staff may purchase a pass ahead of time for a guest visiting in the evenings or on weekends. Photo ID must be presented with the guest pass at the time of participation.

 

Membership Services Office

The Membership Services Office accepts cash, checks, traveler's checks, money orders, VISA, Master Card, Discover, American Express, or $BUCS as forms of payment. Checks must be made payable to Binghamton University (sorry, no third party checks or starter checks accepted).

A valid Binghamton University photo ID is required for all members and participants. Registrations must be completed in person, telephone registrations are not accepted. Renewing members must visit the office to renew their memberships and/or lockers before they expire in order to continue using the same locker and combination or Recreation card.

Parking Permits are required to park anywhere on campus, including the East Gym Lot E. Passes are available for purchase at Parking Services (Couper - G8) or at the Information Booth on Bartle Drive.

Office Location and Hours

The Membership Services Office is located in the East Gym Room 139. Office hours are:
Fall and Spring semesters: M-F 10am-4pm
Intersessions: M-F 11am-2pm
Summer semester: M-F 11am-2pm

Please note: All hours of operation are subject to change; extended hours occur during Fall and Spring Membership Drives.
