Group Walks

Beginning Sept 9
Alternating Mondays (12:10-1pm) and Wednesdays (4:40-5:30pm)
Schedule, Meeting Times, Route Information

This semester, our health and fitness professionals will be leading Group Walks around campus and sharing invaluable information with you! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to have a health resource right at your fingertips, get some exercise, and enjoy the company of others all while learning how to take better care of yourself and those you love! Now that’s multi-tasking!

Walks will be led primarily by Jennifer Hunter, M.S. Exercise Physiology & ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist (Personal Trainer), and periodically other professionals from campus will be guest speakers.

All walks will be at about a 3mph pace, 20 minute miles.  Remember, this is your walk, so you can leave whenever you need to.  In addition, walks can always be longer (up to 50 minutes) by participant request.

For a peek at various walking routes, please see the walking map (pdf, 300k).

For walk cancellation information (due to inclement weather) please see the CRS website home page or call 777-6599.
