Classes are held in the Recreation Center multipurpose rooms and require a valid Fitness Membership.
Each semester Fitness/Wellness hosts a variety of national certification and CEU workshops on campus by fitness organizations such as AFAA, ACE, Mad Dogg and others. These opportunities are available at an additional cost, on a first come, first serve basis to students, faculty/staff and the greater community. Detailed information about these courses is listed on the certifications page.
Are you interested in learning to teach Group Fitness classes? Each spring we offer an internship course which will educate, train, and prepare you to take the AFAA primary certification class to teach Group Fitness classes.
