Other Helpful Websites:

The Career Development Center cannot guarantee the quality of the organizations listed on this website but offers the following advice as you research opportunities.

  1. As you are considering programs be sure to ask for the names and contact information of people who have participated in the program. Take the time to contact them to learn about their experiences first-hand and ask questions.
  2. If an organization charges a fee for work/teach/internship/volunteer abroad programs find out if the organization is covering safety, security and insurance concerns as part of that fee.
  3. Research health conditions, risks and available health services where you would be located. Confirm whether the program provides health insurance while you are abroad and medical evacuation insurance.
