| Project Description
1. After School Program Staff: We offer an after school program and year-round green initiatives which promote leadership in sustainable concepts to youth. Our after school program supports the Johnson City School district to particularly support youth who have been identified as at-risk to join gangs, and/or drop out of school. Volunteer Qualifications: We are looking for highly-motivated students who are comfortable with people from different backgrounds, who are not easily daunted by at-risk youth, to be role models, to provide a listening ear; and assist in the day’s activities. Application and reference check required, along with two trainings. Ongoing staff development. While dress code is casual, with staff T-shirts issued, we ask that students dress appropriately for a setting where impressionable youth are present.
