Project Description

JDRF Walks are fun and family-friendly, featuring plenty of entertainment, food, and kids' activities. Join efforts with half a million people who want to make a difference in the lives of people living with type 1 diabetes. JDRF's goal? Find a cure-fast. Your contribution to support JDRF-funded research will help those living with the disease look forward to longer, healthier lives. The local Walk to Cure Diabetes started nine years ago and has raised over $750,000 total. There are many volunteer opportunities, you can form a walk team and participate in the walk, you can help plan the walk and other related events, and also help at the walk with set up and clean up. Please contact Dina Layish (dlayish@binghamton.edu) for more information.
