Project Description

Meals on Wheels volunteers are considered the “heart and soul” of this program. Volunteers deliver the prepared meals, act as friendly visitors and collect client contributions. Volunteers may choose to be a driver or a visitor. Drivers must have their own car with enough space to hold at least two coolers. The visitor brings the meal from the car to the person receiving meals. The volunteer schedule is flexible; volunteers may help once a week, once a month, or whenever they have the time to help.
