| Project Description
Roberson Museum and Science Center is a regional museum of art and history, and a center for science and technology education serving the Susquehanna Valley region of New York and Pennsylvania. Roberson Museum and Science Center engages people of all ages and backgrounds by providing community relevant exhibitions and programs in art, history, and science education. Roberson Museum and Science Center has an extensive Taxidermy collection that is used for various school programs and exhibitions. An intern will work with the registrar to catalogue, organize and care for this collection. Knowledge of taxidermy and the ability to identify animal species is helpful, but not required. Candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Major/student status preferred: Biology, Chemistry, and Education majors are preferred. Mature attitude rather than specific academic status is important. |
