The Black Student Union Youth Program main purpose is to expose the local Binghamton youth, between the ages of 5 –13, to the college campus lifestyle. In doing so, the Black Student Union Youth Program hopes to foster a sense of mentorship based on friendship coupled with positive role models. Some of the Black Student Union Youth Program events consist of a Kwanzaa celebration, Black History Month Extravaganza and roller skating trips.
