The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. The Society reaches Binghamton University's campus through Colleges Against Cancer - an SA funded, student run group that helps carry out the mission of the Society on campus. Colleges Against Cancer also helps form the committee that puts on Relay For Life every year. Relay For Life is an all-night fundraising event for the American Cancer Society and is the campus's largest fundraiser.
