The Handicapped Children's Association or HCA is a non-profit organization serving the developmentally disabled community for over 60 years. Programs and services include: Building Blocks Preschool and Infant Toddler program, integrating special needs children with general education children; diagnostic and treatment in the areas of physical, occupational and speech therapy and special education; free developmental screenings; aqua therapy; Medicaid Service Coordination; afterschool program; reshab; 11 group homes including a Respite home. HCA is a United Way member and an affiliate of the NYS Cerebral Pasly Association.
