Every year, the Department of Public Administration recognizes one alumnus/ae with the Δ (Delta) Award for outstanding service. 2009's recipient is Nathaalie Maxwell, '03.Ms. Maxwell is currently the Assistant Director of Centralized Services in New York State Comptroller's Office, Albany, New York. She has an extensive background in local governments, serving as the first first female, African-American and youngest director of Budget and Research for Broome County Government in New York. Ms. Maxwell also has an impressive record in community service, founding a Step Team and Arts program for youth in Binghamton, NY.
