Lambright received her MPA in 1997 and Ph.D. in 2006 from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and her BA in government from Dartmouth College in 1996. In between receiving her MPA and Ph.D., she worked for a variety of organizations including a public housing authority, county government and a non-profit. Her research interests include privatization and contracting, organization theory, the social welfare delivery system and public policy implementation. She is the current Director of Graduate Studies for the Department of Public Administration at Binghamton University.
