Please submit a 1 paragraph proposal to Nadia Rubaii-Barrett no later than April 1, 2011. Proposals are strongly encouraged within one of the three conference tracks; proposals addressing issues of fairness, justice and equity in education, public safety, housing, welfare, and transportation are also welcome, particularly if they are linked to the broad conference theme of university-community partnerships.
The Social Equity Leadership Conference seeks to advance knowledge and understanding of applied and theoretical research that promotes social equity in governance. Public administration scholars, public and nonprofit practitioners, academics from other disciplines, graduate students, Fellows of the National Academy of Public Administration, and members of NAPA’s Standing Panel on Social Equity in Governance are all encouraged to attend.
