LICENSURE PREP COURSE:

We are happy to once again offer a Social Work Licensure Examination Prep Course to students, alumni and community practitioners. This course will be offered through the Department and will utilize the Social Work Examination Services Curriculum. This is a 2 day intensive program which includes comprehensive reviews of practice, policy and theory, two review books with 1,600 practice questions and four full examinations, practice examinations to sharpen test-taking skills and lecture outlines to reinforce learning.  Nationally, students who have taken this course in the past have had a 92% pass rate on the licensure exam, however, if a participant should not pass the exam, they may retake the course at no additional cost, although there is a charge if a new set of books is requested. The cost of the 2 day course is $295 which includes the content of the course and the 2 review books.  Because the course is so intensive, we will hold the class on two days.

The course will be offered on May 12th  from  9- 4pm and May 13th  from 9 - 3 at the University Downtown Center, Room 220A&B.  If you wish to register for the Licensure Exam Course please drop-off or mail a check to Amy Edwards  in the amount of $295.  Again, this covers the cost of the course and the 2 review books.  The checks should be made out to "Binghamton Foundation #50353".

Registration is limited and will be on a first –come, first-serve basis.  The registration deadline is May 2nd , 2014 .
