
Dr. Holmes couples her academic credentials with more than 25 years of practical experience in both two- and four-year institutions of higher education. Her scholarship focuses on issues related to gender, leadership, student development, and diversity and equity.
Dr. Maramba is a tenure-track assistant professor. She previously served as director of TRIO programs at the University of California, San Diego; resident director at both Colorado State University and the University of California, Santa Barbara; and coordinator of Upward Bound. Her research centers on equity and diversity, campus climate and first-generation college students.
Dr. Palmer is a tenure-track Assistant professor. He is an active researcher on African American males, Historically Black College and Universities, student retention and persistence, and equity and access. Previously, he served as a senior institutional researcher and academic advisor at Morgan State University.
Dr. Summers is the first faculty member to hold the distinctive title of Dean's Professor of Practice in the College of Community and Public Affairs. Along with his academic credentials he brings 39 years of higher-education experience to the program, including 26 years as a vice president for student affairs.
