Volunteer

We truly rely on volunteers to ensure the day’s event runs smoothly and the atmosphere is enjoyable for our graduates and their guests.

Volunteering, whether you’re a member of the Binghamton University family, a local community member or an alum, is a great way to show your support for our graduates’ achievements and to share in the celebration.

We provide free parking, refreshments and a thank you gift to volunteers.

Volunteering is not a huge time commitment. Here’s what’s required:

• Mandatory training session prior to the event (1 hour)
• Approximately 5 hours of responsibility the day of the event
• A friendly, outgoing personality to help welcome our guests and create a celebratory environment
• White shirt, black dress pants or skirt, comfortable shoes (not sneakers)
