CICO at Binghamton University sponsors a wide array of events. These include performances, outreach events, class demonstrations, lecture-demonstrations at other universities, lectures at Binghamton by visiting scholars, and workshops. This page mostly includes media from our performances, outreach events, and class demonstrations. For more detailed information about other events, select a page on the left-hand menu.
Since its establishment in fall 2009, CICO's Performance Group has traveled to many different universities and schools around the country. The Performance Group's shows include Beijing Opera, ethnic Chinese dancing, traditional Chinese folk songs, Chinese instrument solos, and other pieces.

CICO and Binghamton University hosted an "I Sing Beijing" concert on 2/18/2013, part of a national series. This unique program brought together professional opera singers from around the world to present a blended repertoire from the west and China. Because of CICO's unique mission to promote Chinese opera, music, and performing arts, special courses are available for Binghamton University students to learn about topics that include Beijing Opera, Chinese instruments, and Chinese Opera Stage Combat.
