SPEND JANUARY WITH US
If you need to make up a course, earn extra credit or just want to explore a special interest, Winter Session may be just what you’re looking for.
During Winter Session, January 7–25, 2013, we’re offering over 100 sections of undergraduate, and graduate courses, internship programs, and independent studies. These are condensed versions of regular Binghamton University courses offered in traditional and distance-learning formats. Winter Session is a separate term and isn’t considered part of our spring or fall academic semesters. No student housing is provided during Winter Session. Current, matriculated students may register for break housing. See Break Housing for details. Also, College Link courses for high school students aren’t available during Winter Session.
Take a look at the Winter Session courses we offer; you’re sure to find a course that satisfies your needs among the many offerings available. Once you find something that piques your interest, explore our pages on admission, registration, tuition/payment, and academic information. You may also find our Winter Calendar helpful, along with information on ID cards, parking, housing and meals.
Students attending and in good standing at other colleges or universities who wish to take credit-bearing courses at Binghamton University during Winter Session may apply as a visiting (Continuing Education) student. We’ve put together a list of what you need to do; check it out here.
