Minor in Computer Science

To be eligible for a Minor in Computer Science, you must have completed the following five courses and earned a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher:

  • CS 120: Computer Systems I: Machine Organization
  • CS 140: Introduction to Computer Programming
  • CS 220: Computer Organization & Assembly Language Programming
  • CS 240: Data Structures
  • Math 314 (Discrete Math) or Math 330 (Number Systems)

Once your application is approved for this minor, the following courses are required:

  • CS Elective: 4 credit CS course, 300 level or above
  • CS Elective: 4 credit CS course, 300 level or above
