The return of students to the Binghamton community kicks off this year with the 19th annual University Fest, to be held from noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25. The event welcomes visitors and the campus community to the Binghamton University Peace Quad to celebrate the beginning of the new academic year.
The festival includes carnival rides, vendor booths, a children’s play area, poster sales, food, student organization tables, as well as music from Binghamton University radio station WHRW (90.5fm) and the Alpha Brass Band. There will also be a free book giveaway and refreshments.
