Assistant Professor Lindsay Lake MorganCongratulations to Assistant Professor of Nursing Lindsay Lake Morgan who was one of two faculty to receive a Provost's 2010 Inter/Multidisciplinary Symposia Awards. Morgan will hold a symposium titled, "Research Sampling: Accessing Underserved Populations." The symposium will focus on reducing sampling barriers and sharing effective methods used for research of under served populations to provide discourse and promote the development of interdisciplinary teams.

DSON alumnae Christine Boev (formerly Christopher)'99 was the sole recipient of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses/Sigma Theta Tau critical care grant award of $10,000 for her dissertation proposal entitled "Nurses' Perception of Work Environment and Nurse-sensitive Patient Outcomes in Critical Care." Boev is a staff nurse in the PICU and a PhD student in the School of Nursing at University of Rochester School of Nursing. Congratulations, Christine!
