Community Services
The Decker School of Nursing faculty and students are involved in many types of Community Service. The major ongoing projects are LEARN, PETNET and The Elder Services Center.
In addition faculty are involved in projects with many community agencies such as: The Alzheimer’s Disease Association, Broome County Family Violence Prevention Council, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and The Haven to name just a few. Both students and faculty participate in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, and the Diabetes Walk. Faculty also serve on Advisory Boards and Boards of Directors of local agencies.
