Dr. Mary Ann Nemcek is an Assistant Professor at the Decker School of Nursing. She received the baccalaureate in nursing from California State University, Sacramento, and the MN and Doctorate of Nursing Science from the Louisiana State University Medical Center, New Orleans.

Research Interests:

• Nurses--their happiness, health promotion, work environment (data analysis & writing the report)
• Hemodialysis patients and how to prevent orthostatic hypotension, improve (proposal stage & IRB)
• Heart health of rural African American women - their happiness, health promotion, eat & exercise (data analysis & writing the report)
• BAT phenomenology proposal (proposal stage & IRB)
