Master of Science Degree Programs

Degree programs prepare students for specialization in any of the following functional role areas:

The program is 48 credits and can be completed in two academic years of full-time study. Part-time study is an option with program plans for three or more years of study.

Thesis or Capstone Project

All student are required to complete a capstone project at the end of their program. This two-semester long planning and implementation is to demonstrate integrated synthesis of all areas of the program: Research, Clinical Focus, and Role Development.

Although not required, students may opt to write a thesis as a nursing elective.

Transfer Credit

A maximum of 12 graduate credits completed with a grade of “B” or better, taken within the previous five years may be transferred from an accredited university. Courses used to satisfy requirements for another degree may not be transferred.
