jason gibbs

Jason Gibbs

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Binghamton University, 2003
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Binghamton University, 2003

"I attended Binghamton University from 1999 to 2004. I had the privilege of being one of the first two students in the ECE department's 3/2 combined BS/MS program. The other student to graduate with me during the first year of the 3/2 program was my good friend Steven Seiden. We both decided to focus on signal processing, so we had many of the same classes, as well as a common senior design project. Along with a great education at Binghamton, I also made some lasting friendships. I met my fiancée, Danielle Stoll, in Calculus II. The best-man in our wedding, fellow engineering student Tim Brown, was my roommate/housemate for the first four years I was in Binghamton..." (Read More)

jamie marie

Jamie Marie

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Duke University, 2005
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Binghamton University, 2003

"During my undergraduate experience at Binghamton University, I explored many possible careers. As a peer adviser for the Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science, I developed a relationship with many faculty and staff members and learned the Degree Auditing and Reporting System (DARS) inside and out, advising students on their options, and even revising the DARS system when the curriculum was updated. I also assisted a local patent law firm and learned about intellectual property and the qualifications necessary to patent an invention/procedure..." (Read More)

Pratap Muthana

Substrate Design Group, Nvidia
Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Binghamton University, 2002

"I arrived in Binghamton from India in fall 2000 to pursue a master's degree in the ECE department. The first thing that struck me when I arrived at Binghamton University was the courses choices we had available on a semester basis. The courses offered ranged from communication, controls, DSP, packaging and VLSI, to name a few. I was given a teaching assistantship (TA) at Binghamton in the Analog Devices Course during my first semester and for the communication and control lab during my second semester. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working in a classroom with 50 students going over difficulties they had, grading homework and tests and posting solutions..." (Read More)
