AWP Intro Journals Project


Internal Application Deadline: October 30 by 2 p.m.

The Intro Journals Project is a literary competition for the discovery & publication of the best new works by students currently enrolled in the programs of Associated Writing Programs.

Both graduate and undergraduate students are eligible.

Submissions must be nominated by the program. Here at Binghamton nominations are determined through an open competition.

Winners receive an award letter, publication in a participating journal, and a $100 cash honorarium.

Winning works will appear in Hayden's Ferry Review, Mid-American Review, Puerto del Sol, Colorado Review, Quarterly West, Tampa Review, and Artful Dodge.

Our program is eligible to nominate no more than one work of nonfiction, one work of short fiction, and three poems.

TO SELECT THE WORK NOMINATED FROM OUR PROGRAM,
we will conduct an internal competition with a
DEADLINE of OCTOBER 30 at 2 pm

Please follow guidelines below for submitting work for consideration:

To be considered for nomination from the program, submit your entry to the Creative Writing Program mailbox (lower left hand corner box in the boxes over the bookcase just inside the door to the English Office) prior to the October 30 at 2 pm deadline.
