AWP Intro Journals Project

Congratulations, Rachel Woodward, on having your poem named an Honorable Mention at the national level.

Congratulations to the students whose work was selected to represent our program in this competition for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Internal Application Deadline: November 5, 2009 by noon

The Intro Journals Project is a literary competition for the discovery & publication of the best new works by students currently enrolled in the programs of Associated Writing Programs.

Both graduate and undergraduate students are eligible.

Submissions must be nominated by the program. Here at Binghamton nominations are determined through an open competition.

Winners receive an award letter, publication in a participating journal, and a $100 cash honorarium.

Winning works will appear in Hayden's Ferry Review, Mid-American Review, Puerto del Sol, Controlled Burn, Quarterly West, Tampa Review, and Artful Dodge.

Our program is eligible to nominate no more than one work of nonfiction, one work of short fiction, and three poems.

TO SELECT THE WORK NOMINATED FROM OUR PROGRAM, we will conduct an internal competition with a DEADLINE of NOVEMBER 6, 2008 at noon

Please follow guidelines below for submitting work for consideration:

To be considered for nomination from the program, submit your entry to the Creative Writing Program mailbox (with the adjunct boxes in the English Department) prior to the November 6 at noon deadline.
