EOP Staff

Randall has been the director of EOP for the past four years. As the director, his main focus is to ensure that the mission of EOP, to provide access, academic support and financial support to EOP students, is accomplished in conjunction with the University Community and the Office of Opportunity Programs. Randall oversees all aspects of EOP and provides advocacy for the entire program. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology, and his Master of Arts degrees in Educational Administration from Hofstra University.

Vanessa assists the director with the planning and operations of the EOP office. She is the liaison to the School of Management, where she advises students interested in management and accounting majors. Vanessa is also the liaison to the Graduate Admissions office and Harpur Advising Pre-Law program. Here she assists students in their decisions to go on to graduate school at Binghamton or to apply to a law school. Vanessa is an alumna of both Binghamton University and EOP. She serves on the Michael V. Boyd Scholarship Committee, the Jerry E. Cunningham Award Committee, the Binghamton University Foundation Awards and Who's Who Selection Committees. She is a member of Student Affairs Administrator in Higher Education/ National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) and College Student Educators International (ACPA). Vanessa established the Binghamton University Gamma Delta Chapter, Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society. She has also served as the Staff Advisor to the Binghamton Gospel Choir.

Vanessa has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and African American Studies and a Master of Science Degree in College Student Personnel administration from Indiana University.

Joanna assists the director with the coordination of the Campus Robeson EOP Tutorial Center.  Here students can receive free tutoring services in many courses.  Joanna is an alumna of Binghamton University and EOP.  She is the Staff Advisor to Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society, who established the Anders Uwadinobi Scholarship, and she is on the Dell Valle Latina/o Memorial Award Selection Committee. Joanna is also the liaison to the Career Development Center, and she help to found and is the Staff Advisor to P.U.L.S.E (Powerful United Ladies Striving for Excellence). Joanna has a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Sociology and Latin American and Caribbean Studies and a Masters of Arts Degree in Social Science, Human Development.

Erik, a native from Fort Greene, Brooklyn, is the liaison to the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where he advises students interested in majors such as Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. He assists the director with the coordination of Academic Services during the Binghamton Enrichment Summer Program. Erik is an alumnus of Binghamton University and EOP. Erik is a member of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) and the National Academic Advisors Association (NACADA). He presently serves as the New York State Representative for Region 1 and is the Region 1 Registration Co-Chair for the Regional Conference. Erik has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and a Master of Arts Degree in Social Science with a Concentration in Student Affairs and Diversity.

Erik loves spending his free time with his four year old Biscon Frise, Elliot . He loves being involved in community services projects, traveling, technology gadgets, jigsaw puzzles and dancing.

Yulanda is the Liaison to the Admissions Office, the Financial Aid & Student Services Office, the Alumni & Parent Office, OIR and the Harpur Advising Office. She assists the director with the coordination of the EOP Recognition Ceremony, Homecoming events, reports and other fiscal responsibilities. Yulanda is an alumna of SUNY Oneonta, where she received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees in English and Marriage & Family Therapy respectively. Yulanda is a member of NACADA - The National Academic Advising Association.

Westley is an alumnus of Binghamton University and EOP. He assists the director with the coordination of Counseling Services. Wes is the Liaison to the Decker School of Nursing where he advises students interested in getting a degree in Nursing. He is also on the Jerry E. Cunningham Award Committee. Westley has a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Sociology.

Jill is the assistant to Randall Edouard and assists him with many office functions. Jill assists the director, assistant director, and the counselors with administrative aspects of the Binghamton Enrichment Program and fiscal planning for EOP.

Assist the EOP Counselors in all aspects of work that is needed to efficiently run EOP. Chris works on reports, rosters and uses her exceptional creative talents to help promote various events held by the EOP office. Administrative support to EOP Counselors
