The ninth Faculty Senate meeting of the 2000-2001 academic
year will be held on Tuesday, May 8, at 11:45 a.m. in UU-221B.
The agenda is:
1) Approval of minutes of May 1 (attached)
3) New Business
a) Approval of Degree Candidates. Copies of the lists are available at the Faculty Senate Office, the Circulation Desk of the Library, and the offices of the Deans. Another copy will be available at the meeting for Senators to examine.
b) Election of Procedures
Committee for the 2001-2002 academic year. Pursuant to Article III, Title B,
10.c. of the Faculty By-Laws, the Nominating Committee of the Faculty Senate
presents the following slate of nominees for the Procedures Committee of the
Faculty Senate for 2001-2002:
Chairperson - Burrell Montz
Vice Chairperson - Richard Eckert
Secretary - Sara Reiter
c) Recommendation from Faculty Senate Educational Policy and Priorities Committee to endorse proposed M.S. and Ph.D. degree programs in Materials Science
d) Recommendation from Faculty Senate Educational Policy and Priorities Committee to endorse proposed M.S. and Ph.D. (link to documents no longer available) degree programs in Materials Engineering (subject to approval of Watson School Graduate Studies Committee)
